Strategic Leadership and Transformational Coaching

With such a wide range of experiences, here are 6 of my key influences:

Influence 1: Developmental Psychology +

Learnt the skills to observe human behaviour and interaction studying for a Masters in Psychoanalytic Development Psychology at UCL and The Anna Freud Centre. Listened and recorded hundreds of hours of therapy sessions to develop a scale for self-reflection in adults that proved significant in showing that talking therapy helps build resilience.

Studied Developmental Coaching with Cultivating Leadership learning how to conduct Growth Edge Interviews that help individuals to understand and evolve their mindset and ways of perceiving the world.

Influence 2: Broadcast Journalism +

An intense year studying at The London College of Printing after demonstrating a knack at storytelling and building connections in prior roles as The Private Secretary to the Ambassador of Israel and running a sales team for a fast growth promotional company, led to a career in television and radio news and current affairs, reporting live and in the studio for the BBC and Channel Television. Programs included The World Tonight, Human Rights, Human Wrongs, and Channel Report. Highlights included freelance reporting on the impact of war on women and children in Israel and Gaza and producing and presenting her own television documentary.

Having gone freelance I turned to media training for which I am renowned having trained senior executives globally for 24 years, including my first client UPS. This led to setting up my own consultancy Bubworks in 2002, building an international team to work alongside me and extending the services to support investor relations, client engagement and leadership communication.

With a passion for human rights and mental health I also sought out roles as a Visiting Lecturer at Imperial College London, and media training advocates and patients raising awareness through charities.

Influence 3: Systemic Coaching +

Having already studied as a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming in 2002 and qualified as a professional Co-Active Coach in 2004, I discovered my real love for working systemically with teams and groups when I studied Organizational & Relationship System Coaching with CRR in 2006. I later went on to become one of the first members of the European faculty, training other coaches in the model and techniques.

I have extensive experience enabling leadership teams, strategic partnerships, intergenerational family business owners, and whole companies to navigate complex, relational dynamics and to adapt and grow through embracing emergent change.

My TEDx in 2014 on Luminaries: The New Agents of Change, came from understanding that leadership is a role of the system and as such the importance on fostering collective ownership and connectedness to build resilient businesses and exceptional performance.

Influence 4: Organisational Development +

With a passion for rehumanising the workplace, I built a robust and practical toolkit made up of theoretical frameworks and knowledge to transform professional and personal lives. As a coach and senior advisor I have partnered with companies of all sizes at the highest level of leadership, to develop the essential power skills leaders, teams and organisations need to evolve, grow, and contribute the best version of themselves.

I have accreditation in the following diagnostic tools: MBTI. Hogan Suite, The Leadership Circle and Collective Leadership Profile, Lumina Learning Suite, TDS & 6 Team Conditions framework, Team Diagnostic Assessment, Growth Edge Interview, Oshry’s Organizational Workshop, Positive Intelligence.

Influence 5: Reflective Practice +

My fascination with what it is to be human deepened after an introduction to therapy in my teens. This foray into my inner landscape was the first conscious step to fulfil a deep motivation to learn the art of living creatively and well.

As a committed learner a reflective practice has helped hone skills like communication, presence, and mindset and to support leaders with their own mastery. I hold a professional accreditation with The Coaching Supervision Academy and runs reflective practice groups for coaches, and organisational leaders driving transformational change.

Having experienced the power nature has for deepening and awakening the conversation with myself. These insights arose from walking many wilderness trails including two weeks through the Sinai in silence.

Since, I have developed facilitation skills and a network of expert guides to curate space for critical conversations to happen in nature, including remote locations that lend themselves to being a sanctuary for stillness and visionary thinking.

Influence 6: Body and Movement +

Born with high energy, encouraged to embrace the freedom that comes from moving through the natural world, and a love affair with Marcel Marceau and his genius as a mime artist, evolved a fascination with the body as storyteller, and the grace and joy that comes from learning to embody it well.

As a presenter and keynote speaker I learnt the power of grounding and how the smallest gesture can facilitate a deep connection with your audience. I have trained thousands of people in the art of connecting to an audience simply by what she has learnt on her own life journey.

I believe wholeheartedly in the transformative power of an embodied practice to liberate us from our darkest thoughts. And therefore, I’m most grateful to my ashtanga yoga teacher who taught me that discipline is something to be cherished.
